Overhead door

245 x 275 cm (H x W), clearance 245 cm, color RAL 9002 (grey white), including latch for padlock (not included). Cannot be opened from outside.

Opening dimensions 209 x 93 cm, color RAL 9002 (grey white), with stainless steel door knob with backplate and integrated lock (3 keys). All-steel door with rock wool filling, sheet thickness 0.9 mm, with four-sided EPDM sealing rubbers. Direction of rotation can be executed both left and right.
Door positions
The storage building comes standard with a roll-up door and a man door in the front wall. Other door positions are possible, taking into account:
1) A roll-up or overhead door opening occupies the full width of a truss section in a side wall. The total door construction (including shafts) is therefore wider than a truss section.
2) An overhead door opens by means of rails that hang horizontally in the space, so that the guide rails can interfere with each other with certain door position combinations.
3) A roll-up door rolls up like a roller shutter above the door opening and therefore takes up less space.
This means that:
– a roll-up or overhead door in the side wall cannot be placed in the first or last truss section
– there must always be at least 1 truss section between 2 roll-up and / or overhead doors
– two overhead doors in the side wall cannot be placed opposite each other
– the combination of roll-up and overhead doors increases the number of possible door position combinations
– roll-up doors can be fitted from the second to the second to last section; overhead doors can be fitted from the third to the second to last section
– wind bracing may be moved, but not to the first or last section
– man doors can be placed in any section except those with wind bracing
Metal sheeting Trapezoidal profile sheet S280GD, sheet thickness 0.5 mm (NEN-EN 10169). Roofing sheets coated with a layer of DripStop® condensation control.

MagiZinc® + Colorcoat® Polyester 25mμ, maintenance free. Innerside wall panels RAL 7035 (light grey).

Anchoring
For a permanently installed building
Option 1. Concrete foundation
Concrete (strip) foundation to be prepared according to our drawings (included). Base rail of building is bolted with concrete anchors M12x180/020-035 (not included). The concrete surface needs to be perfectly straight to obtain a watertight joint of the walls.
Option 2. Prefab concrete slab elements
Construct a sandbed to the frost line containing a spacious floor of prefab concrete panels (concrete slab elements) of 16 cm minimum. The soil profiles of the storage building need to be fastened with concrete anchors M12x180/020-035 (not included).
This option is economical and fast. The surface must be flat, with a permitted slope of max. 1 cm/m1 in one direction only. A curved surface is not allowed. A slope in the installation surface must be filled out during installation, resulting in additional work.
For a temporarily or semi-permanently installed building
Option 3. Earth anchors (not included)*
Earth anchors 1,100 x 25 mm for anchoring on pavement, asphalt or hard gravel. The installation surface must be straight with a maximum slope of 1cm/m1 limited to one direction. A curved surface is not allowed. A slope in the installation surface must be filled out during installation, resulting in additional work. Base rail holes of ∅30 mm are to be drilled on-site. (adequate holes aw is included).
Installation of your steel building with earth anchors saves time and money and is the perfect solution when only temporily constructions are allowed or needed.
* A storage building with industrial doors in a side wall cannot be assembled with earth anchors. This combination would lead to subsidence because of increased pressure on the surface on both sides of these industrial doors. This can be solved by applying a concrete footing on either side of the industrial door. This problem does not occur with industrial doors in the front or rear.
